A Picture is Equivalent to Many Words

Being so much time on the road lately, I decided to share a few of my pictures with you using Animoto. Panama is a very interesting country for doing business. Feel free to spread the word and send this video to friends. Here it is:

Very nice, Rodrigo. I didn't imagine that Panama had that sort of skyline.

Have you thought about putting together a slideshow with narration? (Something along the lines of what you see on the new york times web site.) I think you could put together some incredibly compelling presentations that way.

Also -- was that the "Rich Chicken" restaurant? Was it tasty?

Hi Rob,

Yes, indeed this is an interesting idea. I have been subscribing to a few nice video podcasts that are becoming good inspiration. Maybe I will try another type of media later, but for now I am enjoying a lot writing blog posts.

In this video, I just wanted to provide a glimpse of the city from from street level. Let's say, instead of showing the usual touristic places, I decided to show some pictures that represented a bit of the day-to-day life here. For instance, this time of the year, once a day, there is this huge tropical storm that quickly comes and goes, reminding how close I am from to the equator. The skyline with the nice buildings is also something that surprised me when I first arrived here. The street signs are very different and hard to decipher sometimes. So, I just wanted to capture it and trigger some curiosity and make you look the city with different eyes... These are just a few images from the trenches.

The city has an amazing number of good restaurants. Each one of them is a fun and unique experience, I must say.

Thanks for commenting.
