Move on to what you really enjoy doing!

I am a huge fan of using my time to improve what I am good at. I believe that, after a certain level of professional maturity, further improving strengths yields more results than spending endless efforts attempting to overcome different weaknesses. People tend to spend excessive amounts of their time wondering about their weaknesses, obsessed about what they don’t do well.

As managers, we should be self aware and understand your limitations. However, many of us keep avoiding what we are good at and denying what we do best.

My advice is clear and unambiguous: Stop looking for what you are bad at and seek opportunities to increase your strengths. Being keen on developing your strengths will make you a better manager, a much happier person and a more successful professional. In fact, this will help you develop more confidence and increase your knowledge of the things you really enjoy doing.

Finally, if you don’t know what you are good at, start looking for it.
